Prudence Johnson, Elder Law Attorney in Union, MO

Prudence Johnson established her own private law office in Union, MO in 1974.  A native Missourian, she earned her J.D. (Juris Doctor) from Washington University in St. Louis in 1972 and her LL.M. (Master of Laws) from New York University in 1973.  As a member of the Missouri Bar for over 40 years, she is involved in estate planning, trial work and elder law.  She attends the Missouri Bar Elder Law Institute annually and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Missouri Chapter. of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

As a senior citizen herself and as the daughter of a senior citizen (her father is 99 years old) she has a unique appreciation for the challenges facing people in Missouri as they age.  She knows the "Golden Years" are not always golden and many older people are worried about their money lasting and about how they will afford the care they need as their health declines.  The law offers solutions to many of these worries and Prudence Johnson is dedicated to help protect seniors through education and representation.
