Project Open Hand

Founded in 1985, Project Open Hand is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to nourish and engage the local community by providing meals with love to critically ill neighbors and seniors.

Project Open Hand serves San Francisco and Alameda Counties, preparing 2,500 nutritious meals, providing 200 bags of healthy groceries, and engaging more than 125 volunteers every day to nourish the community.
