Pressed Ham Productions

The first “KTown Burlesque,” in the summer of 2014, was the product of four Kenosha visionaries who wanted to put on a show. Not just any show, but a a variety show. Something funny, something sexy, something festive and filled with music. An event where parents left the kids at home for the night, and where patrons dressed as flappers and G-men, arriving in small entourages, to be taken back to the time of the speakeasy nightclub.

Those Kenosha visionaries, who now go by Pressed Ham Productions, hadn’t known at the time what a success their little variety show would be. Comprised in less than a month, with a shoestring budget, the first “KTown Burlesque” played to to near sell out crowds, at the historic Rhode Center for the Arts, in downtown Kenosha.

Since then, Pressed Ham has staged five more fabulous variety shows: “The Return of KTown Burlesque,” “Ktown Burlesque Summertime Love,” “Winter Fantasy,” “Tricks and Treats,” and “Spring Fling.” Whenever posters for another KTown Burlesque circulate social media and Kenosha storefronts, people know they are in for a wild and jubilant time.
