Pennsylvania SPCA

For more than 140 years, the Pennsylvania SPCA has been dedicated to rescuing animals from abuse and neglect, providing lifesaving care and medical treatment, placing animals into loving homes and giving communities access to low-cost spay and neuter services.

Headquartered in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania SPCA: operates an on-site, low-cost public veterinary clinic, provides Humane Law Enforcement officers to the City of Philadelphia for the protection and enforcement of anti-cruelty laws, staffs a 24/7 Animal Cruelty Hotline, implements in-shelter programs aimed at animal rehabilitation, holds public training and behavior classes and provides adoption services and foster care.

The Pennsylvania SPCA receives limited public funding and is unaffiliated with the ASPCA; all donations help animals locally in Pennsylvania.
