Pechakucha San Antonio
PechaKucha (Japanese for "chit chat") was started in Tokyo in 2003 by Klein Dytham architecture "as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public". It has now spread to over 1100 cities. When it first came to San Antonio in February of 2011, there were a little over 200 cities officially participating. PechaKucha events usually have between 6 and 11 participants; in San Antonio, we usually have 6. We strive for a diverse cross-section of our local community and our mission is simple: to showcase and celebrate the great people who live and work in San Antonio.
