Paul Schomburg

Konichi-wa! (Howdy!)

I am just an ordinary Christian who happens to have a desire to see the Japanese people included in God's family. In my work for a Japanese company I often travel to Japan and lived in Japan from 1980-85 while serviing in the U.S. Navy. I love the beauty of Japanese culture and the friendliness of the people.

About me: God met me in 1995 when I'd just moved to the Washington DC area through the ministry of the Christian Businessmen's Connection (CBMC). I've been a group leader for CBMC Maryland in Montgomery County MD for seven years. We're just a group of men in the marketplace living out our faith in authentic relationships. For more details, see:

I believe that God has placed us in our workplaces as His representatives. We're to be excellent in our work to glorify God, but are also called to be marketplace ambassadors for the ministry of reconcilliation. This means practically pursuing the disciple-making work of the Great Commission — meeting men where they are and and helping one another to become the men that God intends us to be.

Please contact me if you're interested in joining a trip to Japan in November 2017 to see how God is moving among marketplace believers and to help encourage our brothers & sisters in Christ.
