PACE Scholarship Academy, LLC

The PACE-Scholarship Academy was launched by certified Professional School Counselor, Melinda Baker Mihlbauer. Counselor Mihlbauer has worked with thousands of high school students through group presentations and one on one consulting for more than fourteen years. Counselor Mihlbauer has assisted students in acquiring full-ride opportunities to schools such as Clemson University, University of South Carolina, College of Charleston, Anderson University, Claflin University and Francis Marion University. Counselor Mihlbauer has assisted in securing three Francis Marion McNair Scholars since the conception of the PACE-Scholarship Academy.

The PACE-Scholarship Academy provides comprehensive presentations to assist eighth through twelfth grade students through scholarship preparation, seeking and achievement process. The PACE-Scholarship Academy educates students how to effectively utilize their grades, economic status, personal circumstances and extracurricular involvement to establish eligibility enhancers to fill their financial gaps.

The PACE-Scholarship Academy offers opportunities for program participants to analyze and study the scholarship achievement process into practical terms. The PACE-Scholarship Academy will educate participants that it is not always individuals with the best grade point average or the highest SAT/ACT scores who obtain scholarships. Instead, the PACE-Scholarship Academy will work with students and ensure that they thoroughly grasp the concept that most scholarships are awarded to individuals who present the best preparation and organization. By attending a PACE-Scholarship Academy workshop, the student will be well organized and trained to meet the challenges of locating, completing and acquiring scholarships.
