Oscar Garcia

As a successful social entrepreneur, Oscar develops strong collaborative relationships to create business opportunities and public benefits.  He is a dynamic, people-oriented leader with deep ties to local and regional communities.  His work strengthening the bonds between the businesses, nonprofit, education and community sectors in Silicon Valley has earned him several awards.  In 2015, he founded Aspira, a community relations, economic development and training firm to empower, engage and educate clients so they can perform at their peak.  His management experience in the technology and nonprofit sectors, includes nearly 7 years as the President and CEO of the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, business development roles at five startups and co-founding a nonprofit.  At the Chamber, Oscar led the team’s effort to turnaround the the organization's financial deficit from $177K, to increasing revenue 49% over a six-year period.  He is a creativeand resourceful leader, who excels at managing chaos to reach target goals on time and on budget.  Helping you envision the results you want to achieve, and then advising you, your colleagues and employees on how to achieve them is Oscar’s passion.
