During a successful career in music and theater, the dynamite duo; drummer Damon Mendes & singer/actress Elisabeth Withers decided they wanted a change of pace. The two moved to beautiful Orlando, FL where they dovetailed their northern efforts with a  southern twist and created a production & performance company;   ORLANDO EYE ON TALENT, INC. As fate would have it, the city embraced the two talented artists and they began partnering with colleges and universities, middle schools and department stores such as Bloomingdales to bring another level of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts & music) to the city. Offering keynote addresses, in-school field trips, talk-back concerts and live performances which gives opportunities to the most talented of Central  Florida.  Elisabeth is best known for her Tony-nominated role as "Shug Avery" in Oprah Winfrey's Broadway Grammy-winning musical The Color Purple.  Her self-titled album on Blue Note Records also earned her a Grammy nomination and currently her contributions to the Arts now hang on the walls of The Smithsonian African American History Museum in Washington, DC.  Damon Mendes is a renown producer, businessman and adored drummer who has worked with Cameo and a host of other international artists.  In June 2017, the dynamite duo  produced the first ever Black Music Month Concert in the courtyard of I-Drive360 and received exceptional support from Mayor Jacobs' office, County Commissioner Victoria Siplin, City Commissioner Samuel B. Ings, Wendy's, Publix,  Harris Rosen, Coca-Cola, Barnes & Nobles, Oprah Winfrey's O-Insider Magazine, ONYX Magazine, VOTUM Construction and Simeon.   Portions of proceeds from the "ADULTING CAMP FOR GIRLS" and "PRAYER PICNIC & PRAISE; Family Summer Fun In Preparation For A New School Year" will benefit The Tri-County Sickle Cell Disease Association Inc.
