About The 2017 Florida Anti-Human Trafficking Advocacy Day Organizing Sponsors

One Purse

One Purse uses the power of the purse, an item every American woman has in her closet, to provide sex trafficking survivors with an opportunity to live free, embrace redemption, and pursue a confident future through our One Purse Restore Her Dream Fund.

Florida Baptist Children's Home

Florida Baptist Children’s Homes is a nonprofit organization on a mission to bring love and compassion to one more child. Thanks to your help, we were able to serve 106,278 children and families last year.

The Porch Light

In addition to providing a safe home for girls, The Porch Light also provides necessary care to victims including sex trafficking prevention and advocacy resources. The Porch Light representatives partner with law enforcement to educate in schools, churches and community groups to prevent more girls from becoming victims of the growing sex trade.

Into the Jordan Ministries

Into the Jordan Ministries, a Christ-centered counseling & wellness center for trafficked & exploited adult women, who live in Fort Myers or Cape Coral, Florida. We strive to empower survivors by providing opportunities for healing, education, employment, & stable housing. Our approach is holistic, trauma-informed & biblically based. We provide weekly life-skills groups, one-on-one mental health counseling (with licensed counselors), biblical mentorship, and weekly wellness classes.

Voices for Florida

Voices for Florida is a nonprofit social entrepreneur organization that engages with thought leaders to drive social and economic innovation at the community and state levels. Our goal is to restore the American Dream for all of Florida’s children and families.

Voices for Florida serves as the Coordinating System Administrator and Innovator for Open Doors, an initiative that enhances service delivery and improves outcomes for male and female victims, up to age 24, Voices for Florida is implementing Open Doors, a promising coordinated system serving trafficked and exploited victims. A hallmark of the Open Doors’ program is the placement of sexually exploited and trafficked victims in the care of a coordinated team of professionals. This team includes highly trained survivor-mentors, known as First Responders, who are on-call 24/7 to provide immediate crisis intervention, along with day-to-day trauma-informed care management. Regional advocates and clinicians round out the service team and work in concert with cross-sector stakeholders at the community and state level, including law enforcement.

Selah Freedom

Selah Freedom is a national organization providing education and training throughout the country, as well as teen prevention, outreach, and safe housing in the Midwest and Southeast regions of the United States. Selah Freedom's national headquarters is located in Sarasota, Florida.

Selah Freedom actively confronts the issue of sex trafficking and is being upheld as the statewide model for how to effectively bring solutions to survivors of sex trafficking & exploitation. Selah is a Hebrew word which means to pause, rest, and reflect. We give survivors a chance to do just that. Women in our programs have an opportunity to dream again; to discover who it is they were created to be.
