Ogden Historical Society, organizer of the Ogden Tour of Homes*

The mission of the Ogden Historical Society has been and continues to be preserving the history of the town of Ogden. Ogden includes the Village of Spencerport, The Erie Canal, Town Pump and Adam’s Basin.   Ogden’s historical headquarters are located in the Colby Pulver House, the house (c.1811/12) and a barn sit in Northampton Park (568 Colby Street near the Route 36, Washington St. intersection) which was purchased in 1966.  The Ogden Tour of Homes is sponsored by the Ogden Historical Society in celebration of the Bicentennial of the Town of Ogden and the Sesquicentenial for the Village of Spencerport.  Located on the Erie Canal, the Town of Ogden is a community in upstate New York just west of Rochester, Monroe County, has exactly what you have been looking for, an unsurpassed quality of life focused on family, friends and the outdoors.
