Nzinga Felix is a Certified Yoga Instructor, who brings to the ancient traditional practice an inviting, non-judgmental, compassionate approach that can be enjoyed by novice level students and any Yoga connoisseur. Nzinga emphasizes comfort in the postures and practice of yoga, as well as patience with the self as the body adapts to the ways the mind inspires it to stretch. She further encourages family involvement as parents are welcomed and encouraged to bring their children to attend the yoga sessions.

Yoga is a science, a psychology, if you will. It includes the way you live your life, the way you nourish your body, your movements, proper breathing, meditation and studying for deeper insight. My practice, of Yoga, has helped me grow my confidence on and off the mat. Yoga has inspired me to breathe through each moment, stretch myself and interact with the spiritual essence of my being. In completing my Yoga Certification, I am deeply grateful for the experience and exposure. I seek to help others nurture their body, mind and soul with this ancient traditional system of yoga. It is my greatest desire that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.”

Nzinga is a mother, a foster care/adoptive parent, a wife, an author, a community and youth advocate, a student therapist, an educator on the elementary and collegiate level, a certified School Counselor, a health and wellness consultant and a veteran of the Armed Forces.
