Northwest Austin Republican Women

Founded in 1969, the Northwest Austin Republican Women serves women in northwest/northeast Travis County and southern Williamson County in Texas. The club is federated with the Texas Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women.

NWARW members contribute time, talent, and treasure to Republican candidates and the Republican Party at all levels. We work to register voters in the community and in elections. Campaigns are just part of what the club takes part in. Some projects in the past have included:

  • The Dictionary Project - benefiting third graders at Forest North Elementary
  • The Constitution Day Project - benefiting fifth graders at a chosen elementary school
  • Purple Santa - an annual project by the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 1919, benefiting SafePlace
  • The Half-Pint Library
  • The Wounded Warrior Project
  • St. Jude Children's Hospital
  • Capital Area Food Bank

The club meets monthly from September-May on the first Monday of each month unless it coincides with a holiday.
