North Texas Association of Energy Engineers

NTAEE has over 150 local members and is one of the largest AEE (Association of Energy Engineers) chapters. The North Texas Chapter was founded in 1985 by a small determined group involved in energy management. Their efforts have evolved into one of the most rapidly growing and innovative chapters within AEE.  NTAEE contains a broad cross section of professionals associated with the area's premier companies. Members have the opportunity of networking with other professionals on both local and regional issues.  NTAEE assists you in your efforts to stay abreast of the latest technologies in our ever changing profession.  NTAEE is active in sponsoring seminars for area professionals. We have sponsored successful cogeneration, CFC, utility deregulation, and dozens of energy management seminars. Proceeds from these seminars are used to promote our educational focus by funding scholarships.  Both NTAEE and AEE International award scholarships to deserving students majoring in energy related courses.  Our efforts have provided 194 scholarships totaling $225,000. Besides scholarships, NTAEE also provides non-profit facilities a 'no cost' energy audit. Some are Paul Quinn College, Dallas Furniture Bank, Dallas Children's Theater, Metrocrest Social Services, Granbury Opera House, North Dallas Shared Ministries, and many churches.
