North American Fire Training Directors & Microsoft

The North American Fire Training Directors (NAFTD) is an international organization that promotes the common interests of providing a quality fire training and educational experience for firefighters. The membership is comprised of the Directors of the recognized authority of fire service training in each of the fifty states and each Canadian province and territory. NAFTD members serve as the primary point of contact for fire training and education conducted throughout the United States and Canada. Each year the NAFTD member training systems provides training to over 940,000 firefighters and emergency responders ranging from basic entry level fire-fighting instruction to professional development courses for chief fire officers. Many NAFTD members are responsible for training standards and requirements within their jurisdictions, and have certification programs that are nationally or internationally accredited.
