Nneka Osueke

Nneka Osueke is a Nigerian-American visual artist, writer, and mental health advocate born and raised in Dallas, TX. In December 2013, she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Sam Houston State University in Fashion Merchandising and shortly after, relocated to Los Angeles, CA. 

 

Nneka's work is a direct conversation of the matters of her heart. Working with oil, sculpture, collage and pure 24 karat Gold, she uses African history, mental health, spirituality, and biology to inform her work. Since 2015, Nneka has traveled to many countries in the world including Thailand, Peru, and Germany, and has displayed her work in cities all over the states and Jamaica. In June 2018, she made her debut in the European art world in one of the most renowned shows in Italy, and a month later held a free, month-long art therapy program for the children in Kingston, Jamaica. With a Master's in Clinical Psychology and over a decade of creative direction she makes it her mission to unite the art world and the vast realm of psychology to promote global healing and elevatated consciousness. 
 
Nneka lives and works intermittently between Los Angeles and Houston.
