Nikky Phinyawatana is a visionary entrepreneur - the creator and owner of Dallas’ highly acclaimed, award-winning Asian Mint Restaurants (with 4 locations in the Dallas area) and Nikky Feeding Souls lifestyle brand.

Asian Mint has been recognized as Eater Dallas’ #1 Best Thai Food and CultureMap Dallas’ Top 100 Restaurants. The concept has also received accolades from USA Today, Zagat, TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, Dallas Observer, and D Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Award for Best Thai Restaurant. Nikky has also been featured on several cooking segments on FOX 4 Good Day Dallas along with profiles and “best of” lists in all major Dallas food, lifestyle and business - online and print publications. She infuses love and passion into her innovative Asian fusion menus, as well as her dedication to philanthropic work. Nikky is a member of Les Dames d' Escoffier International providing mentorship and scholarships for the next generation of female culinary students. She also serves as a Board of Trustee Member for the Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation.

In the Fall of 2019, Nikky was featured on the cover of Where Women Create. A national magazine devoted to inspirational stories with stunning photography, each issue of this bi-monthly magazine is for like-minded brands such as her with a belief in nourishing souls and motivating creative processes.

Nikky was the recipient of the Women That Soar Award for “Business Award 2017.” The event was broadcasted nationally as part of the group’s 10th anniversary television program. That same year, eWomen Network also awarded her with “Business Matchmaker of the Year”. Nikky was also honored to have cooked at the James Beard House in New York City where she designed a special dinner celebrating Loy Krathong, Thailand’s lunar festival.

Having grown up in Bangkok, she ventured to Dallas and graduated high school from the internationally revered boarding and independent school, The Hockaday School in 1996. Four years later, she received her Bachelors in Business Administration majoring in Entrepreneurial Studies and Marketing from Babson College in Boston. She later returned to Dallas and attended El Centro College Culinary School. Nikky and her husband currently reside in Dallas with their two beautiful children.

Nikky has a new streaming video show entitled “Nikky Feeding Souls”. Each segment showcases her tips from her upcoming cookbook, her travel videos from exotic places around the world, and more insight to her busy life.
