About

The NYC AAZK Chapter's goal is to promote professionalism within the Wildlife Conservation Society's four zoos and aquarium as well as conservation world wide.

Representing the keepers of the New York Aquarium, Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, and Queens Zoo.
Mission
The American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) is a nonprofit volunteer organization (U.S. 501c3) made up of professional zoo keepers and other interested persons dedicated to professional animal care and conservation.

The Chapter hosts events and fundraisers throughout the year promoting professionalism in the zoo keeper field and global conservation. We celebrate the hard work of the keepers during the annual National Zoo Keeper Week... and all year round! Come to one of our meetings or events and see for yourself.
