NAWBO Greater Tampa Lakeland

Prior to 1988 women business owners could not obtain a loan from a bank without a man's signature. The National Association of Women Business Owners was formed a few years prior and came along to fix that!

  • We are the Nations' largest non-profit membership organization representing over 11M women business owners.
  • We are bi-partisan by choice advocating on the polices, not the politics.
  • We listen locally so we can advocate nationally.

NAWBOTampa.org is leading the face of change for women business owners.

Decisions are made everyday that impact women business owners. It's great that we have a seat at the table - now it's time to have a voice in the conversation.

Black women represent the fastest growing segment of new and high-growth businesses, yet representation in conversations impacting women business owners is virtually nonexistent.

We are on a mission to ensure that women business owners in the Greater Tampa Lakeland area are adequately and accurately represented in all forms of diversity.

Wherever a conversation is happening that impacts women business owners, we want one of our members there!

  • We are currently building our advocacy committees for adequate and accurate representation of what it really looks like to be a woman business owner.

Join us at an upcoming event to be part of the conversation, build connections, make money and create change!
