Matthew R. Pennington

Matthew R. Pennington is a Purple Heart Recipient and Wounded Warrior that served in Afghanistan and Iraq.  In 2006 he was injured by a roadside bomb while performing security for resupply convoys In Iraq.  Today he plays softball for the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team wearing #77, the team not only plays softball but they perform several charitable acts throughout the year as a 501c3 non profits.  His favorite of those is the work they do during kids camp supporting children dealing with amputations and coaching them in the sport of softball.  Matthew also serves as a Purple Heart Ambassador for the Blue Skies for the Good Guys and Gals Foundation another 501c3 that is ran by members of Team Fastrax "America's Skydiving Team".  BS3G puts on the Warrior Weekend to Remeber in Middletown, Ohio.  This event occurs annually and host Gold Star families and also Purple Heart recipients from all era's for a weekend of healing, fun, camaraderie and fellowship through the sports of aviation and skydiving.  Matthew assist as well with Public Relations and Marketing for 501c3's and other deserving individuals that may require his consultation or assistance.  His latest work has been with Rob Jones Journey as a PR consultant and strategist for Rob's Month of Marathon's.
