Mario Corral

The Chicano Resource Center was established by the LA County Library in 1976 to serve the informational needs of the Mexican-American (Chicano) community and to make information about its history and culture available to the public.

This multimedia collection focuses on Chicano Studies, Mexico and the Southwestern United States and celebrates Chicano heritage through programming and special events. Subjects included in the collection are social sciences, art, literature, history, biographies and fiction. Many of the materials are available for checkout.

The Chicano Resource Center is located in the East LA Library at 4837 E. 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90022.
