Maggie Burrows

Maggie is the owner of Forge Fitness, located in Bozeman, MT. Her gym specializes in small group and one on one sessions. Exposing all participants to barbell, bodyweight and kettlebell training with an emphasis on strength, safety, mobility and overall health.

Along with in person training, Maggie also has a growing community of online students. With Zoom sessions, customized and goal oriented programming and competition prep available.

Forge Fitness supports and coaches a growing community of competitive master powerlifters (60 and over), as well as youth and collegiate level athletes. Not to mention those who just want to get stronger, move better and improve their overall health. Building a stronger, smarter community who lifts each other up and encourages each other to keep growing.

Maggie has nearly 30 years of competitive powerlifting experience and 20 plus years of coaching and teaching experience in several modalities. However, her main focus is educating students on sustainable habits and movements that will specifically improve and encourage them to keep moving and working towards their specific goals.

Maggie is a certified StrongFirst Senior Instructor, with her journey beginning in 2013 at the StrongFirst Level I certification in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since earning her kettlebell certification under Pavel Tsatsouline, she has committed her training and teaching to the principles of strength and movement, with an emphasis on being an ever present student, always learning and expanding her knowledge base.
