Madras Eclipse

The Airshow of the Cascades is a non-profit organization that was formed to sponsor, organize and operate an airshow, fly in, car show and community event at the Madras Airport. For over 15 years this event has brought thousands of visitors to Jefferson County raising over $10,000 each year to benefit local community groups.

The Madras Airbase was built during WWII and operated as a training base for B-17 pilots and today is home to one of the few B-17 Flying Fortresses. The Madras Maiden as part of the Erickson Aircraft Collection along with 20+ warbirds make up this world class collection located at the Madras Airport.
