She has been performing Javanese and Balinese music since 2003. She attended the Institut Seni Indonesia (National Arts Institute of Indonesia) in Denpasar, Bali as a recipient of the 2008 Darmasiswa Scholarship awarded by Indonesia's Ministry of National Education.
She has worked and performed in musical, theatrical, and dance productions at a number of venues and festivals, including: American Museum of Natural History (NYC), Asian Art Museum (SF), Asia Society (NYC), Bali Arts Festival (Denpasar), Berkeley Art Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Cowell Theater (SF), Ethnic Dance Festival (SF), Fort Mason Center for the Arts & Culture (SF), Kennedy Center (DC), (le) Poisson Rouge (NYC), Lincoln Center (NYC), The Metropolitan Museum of Art (NYC), New York Botanical Gardens, Palace of Fine Arts (SF), Peabody Institute (Baltimore), REDCAT (LA), Smithsonian Sackler Gallery (DC), Stanford Pan-Asian Music Festival, Yale University, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (SF), and Zellerbach Hall (Berkeley).
