Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archives

The Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archives at Miami Dade College is a unique moving image archive devoted to the history, cultures and people of Florida. The Wolfson Archives’ film and video collections span a century and include television news film and broadcasts, travel and promotional films, amateur films and home movies.

Comprising millions of feet of film and thousands of hours of videotape, the Archives’ collections are currently undergoing digitization so that this unique historic resource can be freely available to media makers, historians, researchers and the general public.

Events at the Wolfson Archives are presented with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
