Lydia Dudley

Lydia Salett Dudley is a jazz pianist, singer, vocal coach, composer and arranger resides in Raleigh, NC. For 30 years she has been a minister of music for various churches and ministries working with choirs of all ages. She currently coaches several young singers for theatre and talent show performances. She received her Graduate degree from North Carolina Central University in Jazz Composition and is the bandleader for the group Jazz Xpressions featuring Lydia Salett Dudley.

Her latest single “There’s a Winner in You” was inspired after working at a psychiatric facility for teens during the covid lockdown. Students were instructed in songwriting, recording sessions, and hosting listening parties. The goal of the program was to mentor the youth to express their thoughts through positive creative writing.
