Living London

Living London Project

Over the last ten years, I've explored, photographed and written about over a thousand hidden London gems, from bingo halls and bus garages to secret gardens and quirky art galleries. I record my findings on my blog 'Living London,' which I created with aims to inspire and inform people about the incredible places, communities and stories that make London so special.
Insofar the project has received support and recognition from various arts and heritage organisations including the Southbank Centre, NHM and Rich Mix as well as from the Mayor of London, community groups, and a number of the special places featured. The project has also been featured in Dazed, Untapped Cities, and London Live. Through the project, I seek to connect various places, projects, communities and individuals to each other.

Living London Wanderings

I've been leading Living London wanderings for over two years now. Living London ‘wanderings’ offer people the opportunity to explore parts of London that remain relatively unknown and under-explored. The wanderings bring London’s hidden gems to life through storytelling and anecdotes of people and place. Each walk lasts about 2.5 hours including stop-offs at various locations. I often arrange for specialists to talk at the different sites visited on the walk as well as encourage attendee's to document the journey through writing or photography.
