Lisa Love + Helen Lee

Lisa Love is the founder of be love, out of her core belief that love trumps everything.  Surrounded by shamans since birth, Lisa became familiar with the power of Eastern medicine since a very young age.  In 2004, she was introduced to the wonderful world of energy healing -and found herself being guided to walk the path that was unknown to her at the time -yet felt very familiar.  Since then, she has studied and became certified in a wide-array of energy, spiritual, sound and vibrational based modalities by world renowned experts, such as Tom Kenyon, Dr. John Beaulieu, Ashana, and Jonathan Goldman ~ to name a few.  As a lightworker and wayshower, Lisa is very passionate in empowering others to recognize their true essence -and to live more and more in love and light.

Helen Lee, E-RYT® 500, YACEP®, started yoga as a way to compliment her dance studies only to find herself in more yoga classes than dance classes. She believes yoga, meditation and mindfulness is a powerful, healing practice that can bring the balance of strength and grace into anyone’s life. Mindfulness is a practice she has been cultivating and evolving in her teaching, her students and herself. She received her 200hr yoga certification from Chicago Yoga Center with Suddha Weixler in 2007 and in 2013 completed her 300hr yoga certification from Rishikesh Yog Peeth in India. Fascinated with movement from a very young age, she studied dance and theatre at University of Hawaii and has performed, studied and/or taught yoga in China, Belize, India, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Chicago, Hawaii and New York. Helen dances for a local company called The Humans and choreographs for her own projects under the name Momentum Sensorium. In the past, she has been involved in organizing Beach Yoga in partnership with Ten Thousand Ripples, an organization to promote peace and nonviolence through Indira Johnson's white Buddha head sculptures placed throughout Chicago.  This past summer Beach Yoga raised money for the Obama Foundation.  She has led and facilitated several CorePower Yoga programs including Yoga Teacher Training.  In the past, she taught yoga pre-professional dancers at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Intensive Program. She is also certified in Pilates and Aerial Yoga and has been trained in Yin Yoga and Barre. She continues to widen her scope of discoveries by traveling solo, participating in silent meditations, mindfulness and yoga retreats and workshops.  Recently, she has completed the Elevate Mentorship Program with Elena Brower to share the teachings from practice you, a journal
