Lincoln Park Zoo - Public Events

Lincoln Park Zoo is dedicated to connecting people with nature by providing a free, family-oriented wildlife experience in the heart of Chicago and by advancing the highest quality of animal care, education, science and conservation. Ticketed events help keep Chicago's zoo open, free and amazing 365 days a year.


REFUND POLICY
Lincoln Park Zoo makes every attempt to provide excellent customer service for guests who purchase tickets and attend our events. All events at Lincoln Park Zoo are non-refundable, although some Eventbrite ticketed events can be transferred to another name by emailing us 24 hours in advance of the event start.

Update (4/28/20): Our top priority is the health and safety of our staff, guests, volunteers, and, of course, the animals in our care. It is our responsibility to do what we can to help reduce the rapidity of the spread of COVID-19. We are actively following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Chicago Department of Public Health recommendations and how it may impact event experiences at Lincoln Park Zoo.

In-person events (non-virtual events)
which take place between March 13, 2020 and June 30, 2020 will either take place in an adjusted format, postponed or canceled. If you purchased a ticket to an event that is canceled, you will immediately be notified and receive a refund of the original order amount to the original payment method. If an event is postposed, you will immediately be notified and we will allow you the option of a refund in full or the opportunity to transfer your tickets to the new date. If a postponement-refunded is requested, we will require a notice by the guest, within two weeks (14 days) from the announced rescheduled date. If you elect to retain your tickets, they will be welcomed at the new date.

WAITLIST POLICY
At times, Lincoln Park Zoo may open a waitlist for select events. A waitlist allows guests to sign up and be notified if additional tickets become available. Due to our refund policy, we cannot guarentee additional tickets will be made available, but if tickets are released, Lincoln Park Zoo will contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to the event to provide purchase instructions.


As a reminder, all events are rain or shine. If an event is cancelled for any reason, a representative from Lincoln Park Zoo will contact you via email and issue a refund automatically.
