Lee-Anne Gray, PsyD, The Connect Group

Dr. Lee-Anne Gray is a psychologist, educator, and author. Her books address family concerns, educational problems, as well as how to cultivate kindness, respect, compassion, empathy, and open, balanced awareness. Her last book, Self-Compassion for Teens, was the first of its kind, and enthusiastically endorsed by Kelly McGonigal, Chris Germer, Tara Brach, and more. Her next book covers the challenges faced by LGBT+ youth (PESI Publishing & Media, 2018,) and introduces several new concepts to the literature. Dr. Gray travels all over the US training clinicians and educators on the latest science and practices. She is also the founder and ceo of The Connect Group, where she works with young people to promote EmpathicEducation for a CompassionateNation. Design Thinking, empathic education, mindful awareness, self-compassion, compassion, and more 21st century skills are just a few of the ways The Connect Group endeavors to mitigate and end Educational Trauma.
