Learning Rights Law Center AND Minds Matter

About Learning Rights Law Center:

Learning Rights Law Center seeks to ensure that all students are provided with equitable access to the public education system, with a focus on low-income children that have disabilities, face discrimination or are involved in the dependency or juvenile justice systems.  We help low-income families resolve their children's education issues and help them gain needed serivces and an appopriate public education.  For more information, visit www.learningrights.org.

 

About Minds Matter:

Minds Matter is a nationwide mentoring academic program which seeks to transform the life trajectories of low income students with high potential.  Students are given mentoring, two summer experiences during high school, college application and financial aid assistance, as well as free SAT prep.  Over its 24 year history, 100% of Minds Matter alumni matriculated to college with over 90% tracked alumni completing college.  Through its association with NCAN, Minds Matter is part of the White House Initiative to help low income youth succeed towards college.   For more information, visit us at www.mindsmatter.org.
