LEAD [Liberate, Eradicate, Activate to Dismantle] is a collective of public health practitioners at Johns Hopkins University who have come together to understand how health justice is inherently connected to larger liberation movements by building spaces for anti-oppression knowledge building and action. Our goals are to create dialogue and intervene against unequal power distributions, as well as the structural and systemic inequalities that are present in our lives and the communities with which we work. Towards these aims, we circulate a biweekly digest that discusses pertinent global topics as well as hold workshops and trainings that serve as spaces for reflection, learning, and action.
