The Lawrence County Habitat for Humanity works with people from all backgrounds, races, and religions to build affordable housing for people in need. The Lawrence County chapter has been around since 1995 and we have just finished building our 23rd home. We hope to encourage people to continue volunteering and helping people in need and building them a house is a huge task. We run as a non-profit with only a few employees and rely mainly on volunteers. If you are ever interested in serving on a committee or helping to build a house please look at our website for further information. We'd love to have you join us on this mission of creating affordable housing for people in need.
