"Passionate about Teaching and Powered by Learning" is just one way Tori Williams describes herself. However, this Louisiana native's journey did not begin as an educator. Tori Williams received her Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. After graduating with honors, Tori immediately relocated to Houston, TX with her 3-year-old daughter, after landing a job with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HP). Realizing that this job demanded a substantial amount of her attention, Tori quickly decided to resign and return to college and pursue a Master's degree in Counseling while completing her teacher's certification in the Special Education field. In December of 2005, Tori received a Master's degree in Counseling, a Teacher's Certification in Special Education for EC-12 and a Certification in ESL (English as a Second Language). Upon graduating from Prairie View A&M University, Tori began her teaching journey and taught in the classroom for 5 years before becoming an exceptional administrator. Currently, Tori supports 28 elementary schools, writes curriculum and provide professional development to teachers in her school district. When asked what is your latest achievement, Tori speaks of becoming an international speaker when given the opportunity to present in June 2017.

"I’m reminded of a quote by Tony Robbins that states ‘Knowledge is NOT power. Knowing a concept is only POTENTIAL value. The EXECUTION of knowledge is where your power lies.’ My philosophy of education is that personalized instruction allows our students to be executors of the knowledge introduced and retained. The opportunity to engage participants from various countries will forever be plastered in my memories!”

In her spare time, Tori Williams takes pride in managing her daughter's [now a senior in high school] company, Melanin's Forte. She also enjoys volunteering her time by supporting many organizations in Texas, Georgia, Nevada, New York, Chicago and Louisiana. Tori is a host for the SWAG Radio Show (Successful Women Achieving Goals), Won’t He Do It Wednesdays podcast and MaS Media (Making a Statement) Radio Show. She is also the Editor-In-Chief for a Las Vegas based magazine entitled “In Support of You (I.S.O.U.) and is organizing her fifth event utilizing Eventbrite. Tori Williams, is without a shadow of doubt, the epitome of an exceptional woman!
