Kyrin MInor

Kyrin Minor is from Brusly, Louisiana and is a recent graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Promotion and Wellness. During school she was an active member of the Kinesiology Professional Association. She volunteered her time at the non-profit organization Hearts of Hope and obtained an internship with the American Heart Association, as well as the Woman’s Foundation.

Ms. Minor is currently a coordinator in the continuing education department at the Woman’s Foundation, where she has enjoyed working on programs such as Kids on the Geaux, College Survival, Safe Sitter, Tweens/Teens with Life Choices, and Puberty programs. She especially enjoyed watching the kids achieve, learn, and grow through the Kids on the Geaux Outreach program.

She is active in the community through her membership with the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and is currently serving on the board of The Louisiana Association for health, Physical education, Recreation and Dance as chair elect for Health Promotion and Wellness committee.
