Kristal Langford explores the social implications of race and racism on the development of identity particularly in the academic setting. She holds a BA is Psychology and an Ed.M. in Learning, Cognition and Development from Rutgers University. She is currently pursuing her Ed.D in Education, Culture and Society. She is the founder of the Leadership Institute of Gifted Minds an organization focused on leadership where youth forge their own identities, identify strengths, and create collective knowledge to positively impact social change addressing society’s most pressing issues.
