Kansas City Section IFT

Welcome to the Kansas City Section of the Institute of Food Technologists.

KCIFT is a Regional Section of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT). The Kansas City based group is a nonprofit scientific society with members working in food science, food technology and related professions in industry, academia and government.

KCIFT’s Mission is to provide up-to-date scientific information, networking opportunities, continuing education and excellent resources for professionals and students involved in the food and beverage industry in the Kansas City and Midwest Region.

Becoming a member of IFT offers professionals quick access to cutting edge technical and scientific information and an inside look at the latest advances in food marketing and engineering.
