Jude Johnson, MA, LMFT

Jude became interested in mindfulness while working in an alternative school with at-risk youth. There he developed a passion for mindfulness and meditation because of the positive transformations he experienced personally and observed in these youth. Since 2012, he has taught weekly mindfulness groups to adults in order to help people effectively discover a greater sense of ease and peace of mind. He has taught Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and provided mindfulness trainings to mental health professionals, schools, and businesses interested in improving well-being. Jude has completed extensive training on MBSR, attended a variety of professional mindfulness trainings, and participated in several silent retreats. Practicing mindfulness is an integral part of his daily life as this practice has been found to be personally nourishing and essential to teaching mindfulness in an authentic manner.
