Joyce Buford is a certified transformational coach, motivational speaker, author and weekly Internet radio host of SecondWind with Joyce Buford. As a woman who has experienced transition in her own life, her program focuses on helping women who have experienced their own transition, such as divorce, death of a loved one, career change or empty nest syndrome.
Joyce is a certified coach with The Dream University. She was personally mentored by Jack Canfield, author of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” book series, where she also assisted in training programs. Joyce has collaborated with some of the best coaching authorities which she then culminated into the Joyce Buford Empowerment System.

Joyce contributed to the book “365 Days of Gratitude” and has a biweekly article in the Tyler Morning Telegraph. She is the co-founder of the Discovery Science Place, a children’s museum in Tyler, Texas. Her work with the community led to her nomination for the Leadership Texas Association, class of 1997. Through her community involvement, entrepreneurship and philanthropy, Joyce has contributed to her community for 30 years. Joyce is a proud mother of two and enjoys music, travel and learning.
