Jewish Community of Amherst Teen Programming

For the 2014-15 school year, JCA Teen Programming is housing Teva Torah and JVCorps: Jewish Volunteer Corps for Teens at the Amherst Survival Center. JCA Teen Programming sponsors monthly programs, as well as trips outside of Western Massachusetts.

Teva Torah is a year-long program for 7th-9th graders that meets once per month to build community, practice earth living skills, and learn about nature-based Jewish traditions and teachings. This program is generously funded by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation Teen Initiative Grant. Contact Cara Michelle Silverberg at jcateengroup@gmail.com for more information. 10th graders may inquire about our leader-in-training program.

JVCorps volunteers once a month at the Amherst Survival Center and is open to teens in grades 7 and above. This program is generously funded by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation Teen Initiative Grant. Contact jvcorps4teens@gmail.com for more information.
