Jenny Bell is a visual artist from Atlanta, GA, working primarily in photography and mixed media. Her fine art work is a combination of both figurative images and the natural world. Drawing from both ancient mythology, art history and modern culture, the personal narrative in her work is often an investigation of women’s issues and psychological landscapes.  Her original photos are uniquely presented-- often mounted on handpainted wood panels covered in resin with a variety of inks or powdered pigments. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University School of Fine Arts and holds a Master’s Degree in Education. Jenny teaches art and photography at Sycamore Place Gallery and other venues. Jenny is also an active member of the Women’s Caucus for Art in Georgia (WCAGA), serving as the Director of Art+Activism, which develops and creates community art projects. Jenny currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and three sons.
