My father, Ibrahim Manik Bagwan, was a noble and respected man. He was the municipal corporator of Baramati at one point and an ardent social worker. Also, he was a man of principles who believed in discipline. My brothers and I were often at the receiving end of his rage for our shenanigans. Tall and broad-shouldered, his presence alone was intimidating.
