James Elijah Antwine aka Youngestablished

Brooklyn native, James Elijah Antwine aka Youngestablished, is the Camp director at the Brooklyn museum, visual artist and educator. James attended Pratt institute in Brooklyn, NY where he earned his Bachelors degree in art and design education and is currently also finishing his Masters Degree in education at Pratt. James transitioned into the art education field after studying under the BFA Fine Arts Painting Program at Pratt. James has been painting over 14 years with a concentration in fine arts and portraiture. His artwork has been featured in such magazines as XXL and has been exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa). Aside from teaching and creating artwork, James mentors and tutors artist of all ages while creatively building his artistic portfolio. In 2014, James founded an arts and entertainment based company called  "ArtistPERIOD", which is dedicated to providing the community with quality art classes, tutoring, internships, mentorships, job opportunities and creative environments for learning. James also works as a teaching artist who has worked with several arts and education based non-profit organizations, museums and currently teaches in NYC DOE K-12 public schools. James passions include the sharing of knowledge, the creative arts and working with children of all ages. James goal is to inspire creators of all ages to build and succeed in education through the incorporation of the creative Arts.
