IU Health LifeLine

As the most comprehensive transport program in the state, Indiana University Health LifeLine provides expert care for the most critically ill and injured patients. IU Health LifeLine operates one of the most well-equipped air and ground fleets in the industry—with five base locations providing quick access throughout Indiana, Eastern Illinois and Western Ohio. Our leading edge clinical skill, modes of transportation and technology provide our team with the ability to care for the most complex patients at times when others cannot.

We work to ensure that our patients receive prompt, compassionate clinical care when they need it most—ensuring safety throughout the entire transport. Indiana University Health LifeLine provides advanced transport medicine for the most critically ill and injured patients, from neonatal to adult.  Our highly skilled team brings the IU Health standard of care to patients in need by carrying blood products on all critical care transports (air and ground), being affiliated with two Level I trauma centers (including Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health—the only Level I pediatric trauma center in the state), and fostering our unique partnership with IU School of Medicine to provide access to the latest in medical technology, research, and simulation training.
