International Rescue Committee

Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is at work in over 40 countries and 26 U.S. cities. In San Jose, the IRC provides refugees, asylees, immigrants and undocumented individuals with initial resettlement help, vocational English language classes, job placement assistance, and immigration services. The IRC is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice, Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and can help clients apply for citizenship, lawful permanent resident status (“Green Card”), DACA renewal, employment authorization, travel documents, document replacement, and more.
