International Development Program Student Association (IDPSA)

The IDPSA Site-Visits are a great way for students to connect with leading international development organizations in Washington, D.C.


During the site-visit you will:
- Visit and experience the organization’s DC office
- Learn about the organization’s work and global reach
- Learn about internship/career opportunities and the hiring process
- Network with current staff (including SIS alumni) Have the opportunity to ask questions from staff.


Ground rules: 
- Each student can only sign up for ONE site-visit. If space is available, students will be provided the opportunity to sign up for more than one.
- Once signed-up, you will receive an email asking for a short-bio and/or resume so that it can be forwarded to the organization prior to the visit. This will allow the organization to cater the visit to the students’ interests/needs.
- Close to the date of the site-visit, students will receive an email with logistical details.
- Students should plan to be present at the organization 20 minutes prior to the session.
- Attendance is mandatory – so please only sign up if you can attend.
