Illinois Holocaust Museum & Richard Salomon

The Illinois Holocaust Museum is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Holocaust by honoring the memories of the Survivors and by teaching universal lessons that combat hatred, prejudice, and indifference.

As the third largest Holocaust Museum in the world, the museum has received multiple accolades through the years, some of which include the National Medal for Museum & Library Service, the Chicago Innovation Award, and the American Alliance of Museums’ Jim Blackaby and Gold MUSE awards.
