IKPA / Indonesian Kids Performing Arts

Indonesian Kids Performing Arts (IKPA) is an independent non-profit organization founded in January 2010 by a group of Indonesian people who care about children's education residing in Washington, D.C. and its surroundings, particularly in the field of Indonesian musical art and culture. These children, ranging from elementary to high school grades, were either born in or moved to the US. IKPA's mission is to, not only introduce and increase their love for Indonesian culture, but also to improve their discipline and manner while engaging and socializing in the activities. These children have also become the cultural ambassadors who continuously introduce Indonesian culture to the world. The activities of IKPA include art in the field of choir, dance, musical instruments, and theater, which all fall under the trademark of “The Color of Indonesia”.
