Holy Ghost Catholic School

Founded in 1953 in the southeast area of Albuquerque, Holy Ghost Catholic School is a 2009 U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, the only Catholic school in New Mexico to earn this prestigous national award. As the first qualification in earning this honor, the 8th grade class scored in the top 10% of all schools in the nation on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills.

Holy Ghost students and staff are commited to excellence in academics and service in the community, logging over 7,000 hours of service annually. Offering opportunities for academic achievement, physical development and artistic expression, students learn to collaborate and communicate in order to be prepared for success in the 21st century. Holy Ghost is commited to the four goals of Catholic education: to teach students to serve others as Jesus modeled, to learn to form community as Jesus did, to participate in meaningful prayer and worship and to learn about Jesus through Scripture.  We are saving a seat for you!
