We are the Henry Morrison Flagler Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 in order to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism. These timeless, over-arching principles have kept the DAR strong and vitally relevant in our ever changing world.
The Henry Morrison Flagler Chapter began in 1995, organized by local Palm Beach patriots including Ruth Van Otteren, Norma Allen, Mary Phipit, and Elizabeth Christensen. For 20 years, our chapter has devoted it's energies and talents to supporting our veterans, promoting historical education, education to underpriviledged children, and the preservation of historic documents and places
